Signature Medical peels

Please refer to the pre-care instructions for your specific type (Tier) of peel as well, but in general:

Discontinue Active Skincare Products:

• Stop using retinoids, exfoliants (like glycolic or salicylic acid), and other active products 5 to 7 days before your appointment.

  • Keep your skin well-hydrated during this time.

  • Avoid tanning beds and direct sun exposure.

Active Breakouts or Open Skin:

• It’s best to wait until your skin is free of open wounds, inflamed breakouts, or irritation.

• Your provider will assess whether your skin is ready for treatment.

Medications:

• Inform your provider about all medications you’re currently taking.

• Special attention should be given to:

  • Antibiotics

  • Accutane (within the past 6 months)

  • Medications that increase sun sensitivity

• These may affect your treatment eligibility or timing.

Recent Botox or Dermal Fillers:

• Wait at least 2 weeks after receiving injectables before having a chemical peel.

• Always follow your provider’s personalized advice.

Hair Removal:

• Avoid shaving or waxing the treatment area for at least 24 hours prior to your appointment to minimize skin sensitivity.

Post-Treatment Reactions:

• You may experience redness, tightness, peeling, or flaking within a few days.

• These are normal parts of the skin’s healing and renewal process.

Skin Care Tips:

• Use a gentle, non-irritating cleanser.

• Keep your skin well-moisturized.

• Avoid exfoliating products and active ingredients (like retinoids, AHAs, and BHAs) for at least 5 to 7 days.

• Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) daily, even when indoors.

Makeup Use:

• Wait 24 to 48 hours before applying makeup.

• Choose non-comedogenic and fragrance-free products to reduce the risk of irritation.

Resuming Your Skincare Routine:

• You can usually return to your regular routine—including actives and exfoliants—after 7 to 10 days, once your skin has fully healed.

• Reintroduce products gradually, one at a time, to watch for sensitivity.

Sun Exposure:

• Avoid direct sunlight for at least one week post-treatment.

• Continue using SPF 30+ daily to protect healing skin and prevent post-treatment pigmentation.

Frequency of Chemical Peels:

• Light peels may be done every 4 to 6 weeks.

• Deeper peels require longer recovery and more time between sessions.

• Your provider will advise on a schedule suited to your skin type and goals.

Treatments in this Tier 1 Level focus on hydration, polishing, and barrier enhancement. These are excellent peels for first-timers and before hydrating injectables. These can be done every 1-2 weeks are are best done in a series of 4-8.

The Chrono-Tone Regulator (Glycolic Acid): A small-molecular-weight alpha-hydroxy acid that rapidly penetrates the deeper layers of the epidermis. It accelerates cellular turnover to effectively lift early sun damage, smooth rough skin textures, and minimize the appearance of early fine lines.

The Complexion Harmony Reset (Modified Jessner’s Peel):‍ ‍A sophisticated blend of lactic acid, salicylic acid, and citric acid designed to deliver multi-depth exfoliation without aggressive peeling. It simultaneously targets superficial hyperpigmentation and mild acne congestion, leaving skin texture balanced and uniform.

These medical-grade formulations are engineered to induce significant epidermal shedding. They also trigger a massive collagen cascade to treat deep structural damage. Prior to Tier 3 or 4 peels, pretreatment should be completed with a prescription retinoid and brightening agent for a minimum of 6-8 weeks or you can complete 2-3 lighter peels in quick succession to pretreat your skin.
